
It’s already been over 4 years since the Payment Service Directive (PSD2) came into force and open banking has completely changed the financial landscape. Looking back, we can now see that open banking has become a primary source of added value for the final customer, acting as a key driver of democratization of financial services.
It has contributed significantly to offer banks higher transparency and traceability regarding the customer data accessed by third parties, thus also assuring higher safety standards. Meanwhile, open banking user cases keep growing among the Fintech landscape.
