“Croquetón Contigo” to support dogs and cats rescued from street conditions.

A couple of weeks ago, the first delivery of food for dogs and cats was carried out, which was collected during the “First Croquetón Contigo”. This croquette collection campaign, which runs from May 9th to June 16th, exceeded its initial goal of 200 kg, achieving 537 kg of food collected for the benefit of two initiatives:

1. Protectoras de Animales, Mundo Patitas, A.C.;
2. Huellitas Mestizas.

For this initial delivery, four volunteers belonging to the program visited the Mundo Patitas shelter located in Huehuetoca, State of Mexico, delivering 275.5 kg of croquettes to its founder and collaborators for just over 60 canine victims of violence, mistreatment and abandonment, which have been protected thanks to citizen complaints. During the visit, a tour was carried out inside its facilities, exposing the optimal conditions in which the furry ones are found, as well as the follow-up that is given to each one of them depending on their needs.

Finally, 236.5 kg of the proceeds were delivered at the ID Finance facilities to Stephanie Velázquez, a collaborator of the company, who since 2016 began her shelter project “Huellitas Mestizas” in La Presa, State of Mexico, an area with high rates of animal abandonment. This young project has sheltered 15 cats and 6 dogs, in addition to caring for felines that come to visit this location or that are at risk within the same community.
