Plazo joins AEFI as a neobank

Plazo, the new neobank ID Finance launched in Spain in 2021 has recently joined the Spanish Association of Fintech and Insurtech (AEFI by its Spanish initials) in its Neobanks and Challenger Banks vertical.  

As a result, Plazo is now part of the Fintech ecosystem created by AEFI, a key institution to further drive the development of Startups and Fintech & Insurtech companies in the country.

All in all, 175 have already joined AEFI in its different verticals of the Spanish Fintech scene. Regarding the Neobanks and Challenger banks, the particular vertical Plazo belongs to, covers 100% digital banks, that rely only on smartphones and social media to interact with their customers.

AEFI promotes transparency, collaboration, communication and investigation in the Fintech and Insurtech sector, in line with its aim to boost interaction and innovation among the main players in the Spanish market.
