ID Finance has been ranked 18th in the FT 1000 list of Europe’s fastest growing companies. The company has significantly improved its ranking compared to 2018 and 2017, when it came in at 84th and 36th positions, respectively.
“Being part of this prestigious ranking for the third consecutive year is the result of the great effort in technology and innovation of our team. ID Finance has a strong team with unique technological expertise and robust management skills, which ensures the growth as well as the efficient responding to increasing market demand,” says Boris Batine, Co-founder and CEO of ID Finance.
For the third year in a row, ID Finance is among the top 3 fastest growing European fintech companies. It also holds absolute leadership in the last 3 FT 1000 listings among Spanish fintechs. The company’s revenue during the period of observation increased by 5,018.5%. “We currently have 3.8 million registered users, twice as many as in 2018 and we are adding 50,000 new users weekly,” adds Boris Batine.
According to Statista, a research company that helped Financial Tines to compile the FT 1000, the ranking reflects the growing importance of the technology sector, which dominates the list with 189 entrants. When this is added to the related categories of fintech and ecommerce, that total climbs to 259.
When analyzing the list, the authors also indicate that the most winners come from Germany, closely followed by Italy, the UK and France, with these four nations accounting for about 70% of the overall companies on the list. London retains its lead as the city with the greatest number of fast-growing companies, followed by Paris and Milan, while Warsaw and Vilnius make the top 10 for the first time. ID Finance is one of the 12 Spanish companies among the top 100 fastest growing companies in Europe.
