As a Finance intern you will be part of the global finance team, working side by side with the global treasurer and play a key role in a growing emerging company. You will support in the daily cash management, account reconciliations, month end closing and assisting in different treasury projects. Requeriments: Fast learner who is eager to learn. Inquisitive, not afraid to ask questions. Analytical thinker and problem solver. Highly oriented to detail. Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Excellent Spanish and English communication skills both verbal and written. High level of MS Office Excel (well versed in VBA). Experience with Python will be a plus. Education: Ideally any numerical related studies (Economics, BA, etc.) You will participate in: Treasury projects. Treasury reporting. Cash reconciliation. Preparing cash flow forecast. Cash management. Payment administrative assistant. Company payment management. Accounts reconciliations and closing (Payables, receivables, loans, fixed assets, other). Assist in tax models preparations.

EU & LATAM Tax Manager

As EU&Latam Tax Manager you will work for Spanish holding company and report directly to the Head of International Tax. You will be part of Finance team and support Tax team in handling international tax compliance matters and advisory work (research and operation) for the IDF Group entities in LATAM region
  Requeriments: Advance degree with an emphasis in taxation. Broad technical knowledge of Spain and LATAM tax law and regulations; general understanding of international tax concepts. Solid GAAP Financial Accounting knowledge. Excellent business acumen with a sound understanding of the tax implications of a multi-national company. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and creative solutions to complex issues. Effective presentation skills. Big four accounting experience. Bachelor’s Degree in tax or accounting Minimum of 3-5 years in international tax; tax compliance and tax computation. Spanish and English advance will be a must.   You will:  
  • Tax Compliance – Assist in reviewing tax returns prepared by local finance team/external advisors (corporate income tax, withholding tax and indirect taxes) in Spain and LATAM region.
  • Financial Reporting – Support the accurate preparation of the company’s income tax expense (both current and deferred) for financial statement purposes. Evaluate uncertain tax reporting positions and business combinations in order to properly reflect the tax treatment of such items in the financial statements. Analyze the tax aspects of financial projections and forecasts.
  • Transfer Pricing Compliance – Assist in monitoring and managing of transfer pricing filings for intercompany transactions in Spain and LATAM region.
  • Tax Audits and Controversies – Evaluate requests for information from government officials and participate in developing strategies to successfully defend tax filing positions. Assist in coordination and implementation of audit strategies.
  •  Planning Activities and Teamwork – Perform technical research and preparation of tax memo in the sphere of local and international taxes in Spain and LATAM                region. Support Tax Manager on advisory matters by identifying tax planning opportunities and coordinating with external advisors (as appropriate) to develop                and  implement solutions for the group. Assist Tax manager in identifying potential tax exposures and/or problem areas during tax compliance. Participate in the              review of proposed transactions to assist Tax team properly advise management of tax consequences. To interact with international offices, business managers,                  finance and legal colleagues.
