ID Finance is now the 22nd largest IT company in Belarus according to Dev.by, the country’s leading media outlet for IT professionals. ID Finance’s R&D centre, which is located in Minsk and employs over 220 staff, develops IT solutions and software that is being implemented across the group’s 7 markets. This includes developments in behavioural biometrics, users remote identification tools, anti-fraud solutions, scoring models, mobile applications and chat-bots.
ID Finance features in the rating by Dev.by alongside leading technology companies such as Wargaming, IBA Group, Itransition and SkyWay Technologies. At the top of Dev.BT’s rating is EPAM, which has 7,400 specialists in Minsk. The total number of staff employed locally by companies in the rating exceeded 29,000. This is 4,000 more than the results of the previous rating, which was compiled one and a half years ago. Almost half of this figure falls to the share of the four largest companies in Belarus.
Belarus has preferential terms for technology companies, which attracts many IT companies from Europe and USA. In the spring of this year, ID Finance became a resident of the High-Tech Park (HTP) in Belarus. This is a special economic zone with preferential tax and legal regime for IT projects. The HTP consists of more than 220 companies. The park residents are exempt from all corporate taxes, including value added tax and profit tax.
